Art or vandalism? Discuss here!

To start it off, here's my two cents:
While maybe 99% is vandalism with little or no esthetic value, and often carries an intrusion to someone else's property, there are many cases when it brings life to places that would otherwise be empty, dull and grey... It all depends how it looks like and where it is placed. Of course, the dividing line is in the eye of the beholder. [example] My positive attitude to the better part of street art is hopefully demonstrated by the exhibit at
So, next time you hold a can in your hand, think twice what you'll make and where you'll put it. Create something beautiful.

P.S. The controversy was nicely summed up in an interview I found at Stay Thirsty:
"It seems as though people can appreciate the art even if they might not want it on their building."
